Pilot Training
EASA APPROVED
Type Rating courses
Instructor courses
ETOPS offers instructor training (SFI/TRI) on Airbus A320, ATR 42/72 and Boeing B737NG aircraft types.
DISTANCE LEARNING
For all Type rating courses, ETOPS is proud to offer distance learning for each trainee. The purpose is to give all of our customers the same media support allowing a permanent access to Aircraft documentation and Computer Base Training during all the duration of the training and after going back home.
For experienced pilots, and subject to the approval of the regulation where the training is delivering, ETOPS can even extend the eLearning model to “Home study” for all Type rating courses.
The first part of these courses, which is dedicated to aircraft systems study, can be taught using a dedicated Home learning organization. The “eLearning” training plan includes self-study phases and distance support times with a ground instructor.
ETOPS “Home study” provides a means to undertake the Ground school phase remotely and is a training solution approved by the French Aviation Authority (DGAC France). Please contact us for more details.
ETOPS offers Type rating training to airline and self-sponsored pilots on Airbus A320 (and A330 coming soon), ATR 500/600 and B737 NG.
ETOPS’ courses combine a two phase ground-school, covering aircraft systems and operational procedures, and a simulator phase mostly using full flight simulators through our approved training centers network.
The classrooms are equipped with all devices necessary for professional instruction. This includes Computer Based Training (CBT) equipment, cockpit panels and a Virtual Procedure Trainer (VPT) which combines courseware with simulation to actively engage students in the learning process. Theory, practice, technical details, operational issues and human factors are brought together in a realistic environment.
TRI/SFI Courses
ETOPS offers TRI/SFI courses on Airbus A320 family, ATR 42/72 and B737NG.
ETOPS SFI/TRI courses include a generic instructor’s course (known as “Teaching and Learning”) followed by aircraft type specific modules, using full flight simulators through our approved training centers network. Optional sessions are available for TRIs who want to conduct LIFUS1 and base training.
